The basic idear here was to make somehing southeren rock'ish which I think is in there somewhere, but other idears creapt in as well. It might be a bit strange - but for me it sort of works. It is really simply recoreded, all effects are physical and there is no postprocessing - so it is very colse to good ol' 4-track cassette deck recording techniques.

Time must be running at 200 BPM - I cant believe it is almost a year since I last updated here.

The excuses are that, I havent had any music software on my current PC, and I have bought a loop pedel which is enough to try out ideas and save them for later.

But I finally got around to install some music SW again so that some ideas can be developed into something more interesting.

This is a small strange piece with some abstract traits and maybe even a renaissance movement in there. It is basically a monophonic melody with some decorations and a small solo.

Since it is fairly abstract it needs a colorfull title so Abstract Gray it is.

Finished this small traditional Waltz DeDecibel just in time to keep a monthly update cycle. I tryed to make it a little interesting with lazer sounds even thou it gets in the way of the melody. But hopefully the melodi is audible on top. It is really just another experiment with blending electronic and guitar.

Trying to find new and unsual idears I have been listening to some very old stuff I made in the "Good old days" - more then a decade ago.
If I have to spend time recording guitar and working out parts the musical idears has to be somewhat tested. So I might actually have to abadon the idear of updating EVERY month.

While looking for "old" idears I somehow speed this old homemade ringtone down and it is much more interesting now. Not sure it would be a very nice ringtone thou.

This is an attempt at relaxation music.
    Hence a NewAge'y title “Nightfall”.

It is basically just a up to 3 different guitars with TonsO'effects.

This is kind of 70's fusion-ish.

The main inspiration is learning the "funk" tug and pull technique which I think Steve Morse invented and used on Ice Cakes.
The rest is more fusion-ish inspired with somewhat akward phrases.

I'd better remember to update here!

This is sort of a pompous ending with some really strange phrases that I kind of like.

Working of too many things to finish anything right now - so too much inspiration can be a problem (that and developing a consistant and clear picking technique).

This small melancholic tune is mostly made up of old scool MIDI instruments so the sound is not fantastic but it somewhat works.

If I wasn't so cheep I'd probably get a full cubase so that I can use "real" electronic sounds insted of just crappy MIDI instruments.

This is really an experiment that did not work that well.

The structure is kind of clumsy and only a couple of the idears "work". It is almost overly dramatic so it is named aften my favorie mtg image the goblin swine-rider, they seem a bit clumsy as well.

I am constantly multitasking between different idears at the moment so I am not finishing as much I actually planed.
But I have the idear that I should update the blog at least once a month otherwise it makes no sense to have one!

So here is a little exercise which is sort of fun plyaing but also a bit cheezy. Especially the "classical" progression in the end makes this sound very cheezy in an 80's kind of way.
